Joey announces the launch of JoeyQuits.com at a press conference outside the Renaissance Providence Hotel (November 15, 2011).
Joey started the press conference by talking about the website and workers’ struggles at the Providence Renaissance Hotel and at hotels throughout the country.
After Joey, various leaders of community, student, and labor groups gave their support to the website and talked about how their work connects to the struggle for hotel workers’ rights.
Thanks to the following groups for participating: Direct Action for Rights and Equality (DARE), Olneyville Neighborhood Association (ONA), Brown Student Labor Alliance (SLA), and Occupy Providence.
